Principle of Work

The integrated sewage treatment equipment eliminates organic matter pollutants and ammonia nitrogen primarily through the AO biological treatment process. At the "A" level, where organic matter density is high, microorganisms under anoxic conditions decompose organic nitrogen into NH3-N. Simultaneously, organic carbon acts as an electron donor to transform NO2-N and NH3-N into N2. This stage reduces organic load and favors nitrification in the subsequent oxygen pond.

At the "O" level, an establishment of low organic load oxygen biology contact oxidation pond facilitates further oxygenolysis. Microorganisms decompose organic matter into CO2 and H2O, while nitrifying bacteria transform NH3-N into NO2-N and NO3-N. Partial reflux to the "A" level pond provides electron acceptors, completing the denitrification process.
