Brown rice, vegetables and tofu with miso sauce

Ingredients (for 1 person)

  • 50g of brown rice

  • 100g of tofu

  • Half onion

  • 100g of carrots

  • 100g of broccoli

  • 30g of peas

  • 3g of olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon of miso paste

  • Garlic, turmeric


  1. Place the olive oil in a pan along with the chopped onion on medium heat.

  2. Add the rice, tofu, carrots, broccoli and peas. Then add the 2 pinches of garlic, and of turmeric.

  3. Mix well for 2 minutes on medium heat.

  4. Add some boiling water to almost cover the preparation. Add the miso paste and mix the preparation.

  5. Continue to cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is ready.

  6. Before serving, add a teaspoon of soy sauce.

  7. Place on a plate and serve immediately. You can also add some fresh coriander on top.
